Stamp Out Breast Cancer Event

We had such a wonderful time at the Stamp Out Breast Cancer Event on Saturday May 28th using the Strength and Hope Stamp Set from Stampin' Up.  Stampin Up donated $2.00 from the sale of each stamp set to Breast Cancer Research.  We created 4 cards and 2 boxes that were designed by Sandi MacIver and Lee Conrey (Thanks Sandi and Lee).  The designs were fabulous and some of the attendees even learned a few new techniques.  We shared lots of fun and laughs.  I even had this grand idea of making the big shot "passable" by putting it on my SUcutting mat and sliding it from person to person.  Great idea, I thought, because I planned for each person to have their own 6' table.  Plenty of room, I thought, until it was time to pass the Big Shot along to someone else and I realized there was no way that was going to happen.  Our tables were completely covered with our tools, punches and supplies.  I broke out into uncontrolled laughter.  Everyone thought I'd lost my mind, until I explained that my grand idea was a huge failure.
