The challange this week at Hand Stamped Sentiments is "Inspired by Nature" showing an outdoor Spring photo. I actually joined two photos together that I took last May in Sequim, Wa. I'm not sure what the beautiful flowers are, but they were stunning in real life. The seagull was also taken on the same trip to Sandi MacIver's Spring Card Event in Sequim. I thought it would be nice to add the blue flowers to the seagull picture because the sky was such a gorgeous blue color. I used Night of Navy and Bashful Blue CS to mount the pics with. I added a little fun by using the Scallop Trim Border punch along the edge. I hope each of you will join me in the challenge this week. Hop on over to Hand Stamped Sentiments and give it a go! If you need any supplies from Stampin' Up!, please email me at sherrysinknstamps@yahoo.com, I'd love to be your demonstrator.
This is the same seagul, just with different flowers. These flowers are all over Washington state in abundance. They are just breathtaking. I used Basic Gray, Melon Mambo and Night of Navy to back these pics.
what an awesome idea to combine pictures, you are so smart, and CONGRATULATIONS on your Stampin Up Promotion to Sr. Supervisor, you ROCK!.

Such a fantastic idea, Sherry! Both photos are so beautiful. The first reminds me of the Texas bluebonnets and of course, I am smitten with the pink in the second. They came out great! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat photos, Sherry! They make for such creative and unique cards. What a fun take on the Nature challenge :)
ReplyDeleteI SO LOVE your photos and cards, it makes me LONG to get to the beach. Nice work!!!
