I love this technique. It is so much fun using Shimmer paint and Stampin' Pastels in a way that you wouldn't normally think about. I hope you enjoy the video below. I'd love for you to leave a comment.
Beautiful card. I love the technique. I will give you one of my secrets for tying ribbon and saving a little of it and also getting a really nice tight ribbon on your project. My husband cut me some wooden blocks that I use to tie my ribbon around and cut it and then anchor it on the back of the card with glue dots. Since I have gotten my clear blocks I find that the D block works well. Tie it around the shortest distance for the 4.25 size of the card and the longest for the 5.5 or the larger size of the card. I love doing this, it always gives me a great tight ribbon.
